Hi! Got your email with the link. Nice to catch up again!

I agree about bedtime routines. We should have done it with our older child, but we didn't know any better (and we were more lazy when we were younger). She used to finally get to sleep as late as 11, even as an infant. And she's still (at 9 years old) a pain to get to bed. At least if she stays up too late, she's old enough to be pretty good company. Unlike a very small, overtired 2 year old.

This time around, I have no problems getting the baby to sleep because every night it's: 1) eat a "snack" (baby food), 2) take a bath, 3) get on pj's, 4) nurse. He's asleep by 6 pm - NO JOKE. The bath and pj's are actually important, IMHO. We didn't do a daily bath with kid #1, because, really, how dirty do babies even get? And why change their outfit if it's clean, since all baby clothes are pretty easy to sleep in? But I've found that they're really good bedtime "signals", so it's worth the extra 10-15 minutes of work.

Admitedly, their different sleep habits probably have more to do with their different temperaments, but there's no way I'm changing anything now!

Um, if this is who I think it is, I should add.

If it isn't who I think it is, then I guess I am reading along anyway. Heh.

I just wanted to let you know I am reading, since you are worried about losing readers in your move. I read via bloglines, so I may not show up in your stats, but I am reading along.
