One thing I love about spending dedicated time playing with my boys each night is getting the opportunity to just sit and watch them. Last night my almost-three-year-old was playing with marbles on the floor and one got away from him. He was laying on his belly so he carefully slithered after it as it rolled slowly across the floor. My almost-six-year-old was dropping handfuls of marbles into the top of the marble run we created and then stood back, shaking his hands in front of him as he tends to do when his body is full of too much excitement.
My boys are just so insanely beautiful. It makes my heart ache to watch them.

LOL - My baby does that “hand shake” thing too, and his eyes get really wide and he makes a grimace-y mouth. It’s really cute. What’s really funny is that he can even do it on prompting. We all get a big laugh from it (him included!)
