Sticks and Stars

Around the time I stopped blogging I started doing something else and that something else involved a blog, so all my needs were met and I lived happily ever after.

Except that other thing was fairly topic-specific and lately I’ve found myself yearning for a more general space within which to write. There are a lot of things to complain about in this world, and it’s a terrible thing when one is forced to keep one’s complaints and general lamentations all bottled up inside.

But then I read mention of NaBloPoMo and realized that today is November 1 and figured that maybe this is all one grand sign that I should reinvigorate this blog and start posting again.

So voila!

Here I am!

And here I go!

If nothing else, I suppose the worst that can happen is that I don’t actually post and/or no one actually cares whether I do or not. I suppose that’s not life threatening or anything.

Edited to add: I’m having trouble signing up for the damned site but maybe this is a test as to whether I can persevere in the face of adversity. So persevering, I am.
