Despite what this site might imply, I’ve actually been blogging for years and years and years. I feel the need to say that so that you don’t think I’m one of these young upstart bloggers. I’m not a young upstart blogger, I’m just a fickle blogger who seems to need to switch blogs every year or so. I’m determined that this should be the last switch and I hope to demonstrate that by eventually importing five or so years of archives into this current site.
This whole site is made all the more sad by the fact that web development is what I get paid to do during regular business hours. So you’d think I’d spend a minute or two customizing my template or something. But no. In fact, it took me about four months just to remove that “Just another WordPress blog” tagline. Somehow I just couldn’t find the time. No, in actuality I was trying to come up with a clever replacement tagline, but clearly I haven’t been so lucky on that front. I figured that nothing was better than something stupid, so there you have it.
So I guess this isn’t so much of an “about” page as it is a “defense of my blog’s absolute unoriginality.” I guess that probably says a fair amount about me in and of itself.
